Simon has held senior information security related positions within a number of major international banks including American Express; Legal & General; Banker’s Trust; JP Morgan and Standard Chartered Bank before moving to Australia in 1999 to fulfil the role of Chief Security Officer at the ANZ Bank and thereafter the role of Chief Security Officer and Strategist for Westpac.

He’s the recipient of national awards and recognition for industrial influence, innovation in Financial Services and unique methods of creative training in cyber security as well as having authored over a dozen patents relating to payments and information security.

He has a passion for driving innovation forward and views OtherPay as a game changer in an industry desperately in need of improvement through innovation with a view on social and environmental responsibility and collective protection for all.
